It is all about us and everything we do.

It would be fantastic to say that WeirdJelly is one thing. That it is a technology company or a design studio or physical production and prototyping company. In some ways it is those things but it’s not just those things.

We explore electronics, rapid prototyping and production, physical and digital products that are made ethically and will not held hostage to the whims of Silicon Vally Big tech bros.

The mathematics of A.I and machine learning is fascinating and can be used responsibly but we will not use Generative A.I to create computer code, text and articles images or video.

Weird Jelly is not for everyone, we don’t try to appeal to everyone. We will not be Apple, Starbucks or Ford. We won’t go down the old route of moving fast and breaking things.

C.J Weird The founder of Weird Jelly worked for many years in Conventional engineering. Working on many things including RADAR Devices, Automotive Quality Systems and Digital CCTV Systems. It wasn’t until CJ spent 5 years at the Science Museum working on the exhibits and interactives and meeting lots of cool and interesting people in the arts and creative industries that it clicked to combine her technology skills as an outlet for her creative flair. This eventually culminated in the creation of the technology that went into the Queens Baton for the 2022 Birmingham Commonwealth games. The city she now calls home.

The only thing that is guaranteed is that there is no limit to what Weird Jelly will do but it will be made with love and care
